Welcome to the official site for Clever Elements Media Group, the company with a true passion for our work. When you hear that "C.E. Baby!" trademark laugh, you know it's us. We are not a record label or music company, although music is probably what you're visiting us for and we are ASCAP affiliated. We are a movement of entrepreneurs dedicated to the grind we started long ago. We have expanded into copywriting in addition to producing a diverse range of music for commercial advertisements and soundtracks for sports arenas, television shows, and motion pictures. Just for stopping by our site, download "The Watermark," the underground EP from Munchini for FREE by clicking here. Clever Elements Media Group and our affiliates have done production for many artists including C-Rok aka Mr ReUp, Yung Berg, Red Cafe, Lil' Shawn, and more. Clever Elements Media Group, based in Atlanta, GA was officially launched in January 2008, although the seeds were planted consistently for years prior. Our first distributed music project was an underground, unmastered album by the group Seven Seaz, titled "Genesis 2G." It was released in 2000 and generated a generous response on the underground North Carolina music scene despite its muddy underground sound. The first commercially released album was another Seven Seaz album "The Perfect Number" released and distributed in 2003 under a contract with Full House Production and Entertainment CEO JR Troutman. This album, which was produced by members of Seven Seaz as well as a track produced by Charlee Hesston created quite a buzz in the underground scene, even internationally as it was well received in parts of Europe. The buzz ended up getting the FGD-produced single "Betta Dayz" in regular rotation on several medium- market radio station playlists. In 2004, John "JB" Spruill a.k.a. Munchini (formerly JB da Risin' Sun) of Seven Seaz moved to Atlanta, GA and started producing as well as networking with successful business owners and sponsors to put his Media Production degree to good use. In January 2008, he and Levon Carpenter a.k.a. Furie of Seven Seaz launched Clever Elements, at first concentrating solely on music performance and production. However, with the numerous members of Seven Seaz so closely associated with the company, they decided to expand their services to include publishing, copyrighting/marketing, and artist development. It holds true that strength is in numbers and we are a testimony to that with a brand of loyalty amongst friends that has been strong for over 15 years. |

Indieface Radio PodcastAre you tired of hearing the same songs about the same things by the same artists everyday on commercial radio? We were too. That's why we created IndieFace Radio; for hungry music fans that desire something more positive and who are too smart to think the only talented artists that exist are the ones on the radio. Our new site showcases independent music artists who do hip-hop, R&B, and urban gospel music. We are looking to give exposure to talented up and coming artists who want to gain new fans. We are in the process of reaching out to artists who want to submit music to be included in our podcasts. Independent artists know the struggles that exist in trying to get their music heard. We are continuously trying to build a community of loyal listeners by providing a positive alternative to commercial radio. Underground/independent artists have to support each other and keep the artform of real music alive (especially positive music), no matter the genre or style. Independent artists can never have too much promotion or exposure. If you have music that you would like to submit, please send it to indiefaceradio@gmail.com. We are always looking to build up a bigger and greater catalog of music to play. Please see the following criteria and submit your song(s) if you'd like: -Music must be in either a 16-bit wav file or high quality mp3 file. -Although your songs do not have to sound like they were recorded at Def Jam studios, they should still sound professional enough for your listeners to appreciate (i.e. mixed and mastered). If your songs sound like they were recorded in a bathroom stall, chances are they won't make the playlist. Remember, your potential fans are worth it. -Make sure your songs are copyrighted before you submit them. Although we solemnly swear not to steal your music or claim it as our own, we can't guarantee that others who hear it will take the same stance. -Make sure the songs you send are your own. By submitting a song to us, you are confirming that you or your group/label own the rights to it. DO NOT send songs recorded over industry beats (i.e. mixtape songs). -Please send information where you can be contacted and/or where potential fans can hear/purchase more of your music (i.e. your personal website) and any other info you wish to include (tour/show dates, photo, name of album the song is from, etc). -type either "Hip Hop," "R&B," or "Urban Gospel" in the subject line of the email to indicate what type of music you are submitting. This helps us categorize and track the songs as we receive them. -Songs with positive energy, songs with substance, and songs without profanity have a much better chance of making the playlist We have to be able to prove that we were given permission to play the song(s) we receive so please include the following statement in your email when you send your song(s): I hereby grant IndieFace Radio the permission to use the song(s) I am including in this email for their podcasts and on their site. I confirm I have the right to grant this permission for the song(s) I am submitting. Thanks...we really appreciate your help in making this work. |
