Leasing license:
Instrumental tracks can be leased for $25 each, meaning they can be used for music that will be performed at a live venue (i.e. nightclub), on a promotional demo, for songs to be posted on a website such as myspace.com, and for distributing up to 5,000 profitable or non-profitable copies of your album, mixtape, or online download. Click on "Add to Cart" to add the beat to your cart and then proceed to checkout to pay the $25 leasing fee to download an mp3 of the full instrumental. Producer credit shall be appropriately listed on any distributed physical or online product in order to give credit to the Clever Elements producer who created the instrumental (i.e. "produced by Munchini for Clever Elements"). This license grants the artist usage of the beat, not ownership.


Exclusive Rights license:
Exclusive rights licenses may be purchased and prices vary depending on the track (we are willing to negotiate with independent artists because we know the budget struggles that exist). This license gives the buyer exclusive performance rights to the track, meaning it will not be available to anyone else and the buyer may use the beat in their preferred manner including unlimited distribution or sales. The purchased track will be removed from this website upon completion of sale and the buyer receives the beat without the Clever Elements vocal tag on it (unless you request it to be left on there). Clever Elements shall however, retain actual ownership of the instrumental track itself meaning it cannot legally be sold to another party. The artist may sell their original completed song for profitable means as a single or part of an album. The artist will not owe any royalties to Clever Elements for the actual sale of any songs they made using the instrumental the license was purchased for. However, producer credit shall be appropriately listed on any distributed physical product, online product, and/or official Library of Congress copyright forms "PA" and or "SR" (if you choose to do a legal copyright) in order to give credit to the Clever Elements producer who created the track (i.e. "produced by Munchini for Clever Elements"). This is done for the producer to receive the appropriate due royalties from BMI, ASCAP, etc. To obtain a license for exclusive rights, click here to e-mail us. Be sure to include the name of the beat you wish to purchase the rights for. As mentioned earlier, we are willing to negotiate on prices in most cases. An invoice will be sent via e-mail (or postal mail if requested) advising how to make payment (Paypal is preferred). You will receive a receipt confirming payment has been received and a link to a high-quality wav file of the purchased track will be sent via e-mail (can also be sent via postal mail on CD-R if requested) along with a contract granting exclusive rights to use the instrumental track. For most instrumental tracks, upon request and at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE we can send the instrumental "tracked out," meaning each part of the beat (drums, lead melody, percussion, bass, etc) can be loaded as separate wav files into your engineer's mixing station for the best mix/leveling during the final mixdown stage.

Both licenses mentioned above are non-transferrable and only valid for the artist or group that purchased the license. It is the buyer's responsibility to obtain the proper clearance of any samples or copyrighted materials used in the song they market or sell.
