Clever Elements Media Group, based in Atlanta, GA was officially launched in January 2008, although the seeds were planted consistently for years prior. Our first distributed music project was an underground, unmastered album by the group Seven Seaz, titled "Genesis 2G." It was released in 2000 and generated a generous response on the underground North Carolina music scene despite its muddy underground sound. The first commercially released album was another Seven Seaz album "The Perfect Number" released and distributed in 2003 under a contract with Full House Production and Entertainment CEO JR Troutman. This album which was produced by members of Seven Seaz as well as a track produced by Charlee Hesston created quite a buzz in the underground scene, even internationally as it was well received in parts of Europe. The buzz ended up getting the FGD-produced single "Betta Dayz" in regular rotation on several medium- market radio station playlists. In 2004, John "JB" Spruill a.k.a. Munchini (formerly JB da Risin' Sun) of Seven Seaz moved to Atlanta, GA and started producing as well as networking with successful business owners and sponsors. In January 2008, he and Levon Carpenter a.k.a. Furie of Seven Seaz launched Clever Elements, at first concentrating solely on music performance and production. However, with the numerous members of Seven Seaz so closely associated with the company, they decided to expand their services to include publishing, copyrighting/marketing, and artist development. It holds true that strength is in numbers and we are a testimony to that with a brand of loyalty amongst friends that has been strong for over 15 years.
